At the start of covid 19 I remember a cold early morning when Walmart first started letting old farts like me in early, before the toilet paper hoarders arrived. I along with 20 other old farts were standing on our little circles properly spaced wearing our surgical masks and gloves. I was towards the end of the line watching all of us shivering while waiting for the doors to open. While shivering I noticed something strange, I could see everyone's breath going through and around their masks. Common sense was and still is telling me if we can see our breath go through and around our masks on a cold day wouldn't covid 19 eventually touch all of us regardless of whether we were masked or unmasked?
